Les Deux Alpes

Ski Holiday in Les 2 Alpes – High-Altitude Skiing and Endless Powder!

Nestled in the Isère department, Les 2 Alpes stretches from 1,300 m to 3,600 m in altitude. With its iconic high-altitude ski area, it is one of the highest ski resorts in Europe, ensuring quality snow throughout the season.

In this true paradise for snow sports enthusiasts, 75% of the ski area lies above 2,000 m, offering optimal conditions from December to May, and even natural spring snow.

With 220 km of marked runs for all levels, the ski area spreads across multiple slopes: sunny, wild, with breathtaking panoramas and exceptional vertical drops.

The resort stands out with its lively and spacious village center, lined with shops, restaurants, and bars.

For relaxation, visitors can enjoy a swimming pool, ice rink, wellness areas, and a wide range of activities: paragliding, ice climbing, panoramic helicopter flights, and more.

At Les 2 Alpes, altitude rhymes with attitude, and the possibilities are truly endless.

Oisans Region

Oisans is an alpine region located between Isère and Hautes-Alpes, in the heart of the French Alps. Its highest peak is La Barre des Écrins (4,102 m), the southernmost 4,000-meter summit in the Alps.

Oisans includes several remarkable mountain ranges: the Écrins, Grandes Rousses, Belledonne, Taillefer, and Arves. The region features spectacular valleys, glaciers, and striking peaks.

In both winter and summer, the region attracts visitors seeking quality skiing, wide open spaces, and exceptional scenery. When conditions allow, powder snow, sunshine, and nature combine to create a spectacular setting.

Les 2 Alpes Ski Area

At Les 2 Alpes, older ski lifts have been replaced by next-generation installations, the centerpiece being the Jandri cable car, inaugurated in December 2024. This new cable car sets the standard in speed and comfort, allowing visitors to reach 3,200 m in just 17 minutes.

At the top, skiers can fully enjoy the 220 km of slopes of all levels and breathtaking scenery.

Powered mainly by local hydroelectric energy, the new lifts at Les 2 Alpes were designed with environmental responsibility in mind, in order to reduce their impact and optimize energy consumption.

Discover the ski area

For intermediate skiers, we highly recommend the series of blue runs linking the top of the ski area at 3,600 m down to the resort: a beautiful panoramic descent not to be missed.

With its steep slopes and wilder atmosphere, the Fée sector is an absolute pleasure for experienced skiers.

Beginners can progress in several safe and gradual learning areas, either at the bottom of the ski area or higher up in the Belle Étoile learning zone at 2,100 m.

Finally, enjoy Vallée Blanche, accessible to all levels and offering the sunniest slopes of the ski area.

With a 6-day pass, you can also access the Grande Galaxie ski areas (partner resorts: Alpe d'Huez, Serre-Chevalier, Puy-Saint-Vincent, Montgenèvre, Sestriere).

Night Skiing

The Les 2 Alpes ski area offers the chance to extend your ski day every Wednesday evening from the Christmas holidays onward, on illuminated green and red runs for a unique experience.

New from February: ski from 3,400 m down to 3,200 m at sunset and enjoy a snack or an aperitif, depending on your mood.

Freestyle Land Snowpark

The Freestyle Land snowpark, located at 2,600 m in winter in the Toura sector and at 3,200 m in spring, has long been a favorite destination for freestyle enthusiasts.

The winter snowpark covers 24 hectares and features multiple dedicated areas: Easy Park for beginners, Park Avenue for intermediate riders, Park de l’Envers for advanced riders, and the Big Air (XL/XXL) for experts.

Modules are classified from XS to XXL so everyone can progress at their own pace.

The historic halfpipe is maintained daily by a dedicated team, ensuring perfect and safe conditions.

In the cool zone, with music, drinks, and BBQ, you can relax while watching freestyle riders perform spectacular tricks.

Off-ski and Après-ski

Several activities allow visitors to discover the behind-the-scenes of the ski area and enjoy special moments with local teams: behind-the-scenes tours of the Jandri cable car and funicular, and visits to the snowmaking workshop to learn more about artificial snow production, water usage, and grooming.

Après-ski at Les 2 Alpes is a true institution thanks to the many available activities and its 80 bars and restaurants.

The resort is perfect for strolling, tasting mountain specialties, visiting the typical villages of Venosc and Mont-de-Lans, and enjoying family time. The resort is certified 'Famille Plus', guaranteeing services adapted to all ages.
